My name is Alyson “Aly” Cline. I love Surprise! I moved here in 2002, after looking at many various active living communities in many states.

In the last 11 years, I have been able to volunteer more than 19,000 hours within the City of Surprise. I have volunteered as a representative on the Disability Advisory Commission; as a volunteer coach for the City’s Parks and Recreation Department for nine years and 18 teams; as a volunteer scorekeeper for the last 10 years for Cal Ripkin and Babe Ruth baseball tournaments; and participating in the leadership of the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Surprise for five years, including Event Chair in 2013 and 2014. I have also been a lifetime member, volunteer, and board member of Friends of the Surprise Libraries Inc. for the past 10 years, serving as the volunteer President for the last eight years. I recently served on the Financial Advisory Committee and the Long Range Planning Committee for the Sun City Grand Homeowners Association.

Before I retired in 2008, I worked for 35 years in the financial services industry, managing staff and developing training for management and staff. I have a Certificate in Business Management from UCLA. Representing the interests of all of the communities located within District 2 is of the utmost importance to me. That means listening to the people and the businesses located here.
